DOT Prime Contracts

Prime Contracts are awarded by a Department of Transportation to a low bidder qualified for the type of work specified by the contract. Central Seal specializes in contracts related to paint re-striping, thermoplastic markings, and marker installations. Geographically, Prime Contracts may be defined by Highway Districts or regions. Central Seal has done work around Kentucky and in many states outside of Kentucky. The DOT Prime Contract crews at Central Seal are also known as "Longline" crews, because the work gets done out of town.
